Heh!

For the past little while, when trying to upload to my EOL/Primus webpage space, I have gotten a 550 Disc Quota Exceeded error. Bleh! They recently changed something, (I use DOS FTP at work to upload stuff there; there are no floppy or anything drives on some of these computers) and it no longer says how much of my disk space quota I was using. Anyhow, I was kind of aware that I was exceeding my quota and never heard anything from EOL about it. I have deleted lots and lots of stuff (about 15 meg, in a 10 meg sized web page space LOL) and I STILL cannot upload anything else. I am wondering if something else is up. Dunno if they'll answer at this time of the night. It would be cool if I knew how much more to delete, but I am just guessing, because their dopey UNIX shell (I think) doesn't give me much info anymore. In any case, many many pictures are now gone; safely on my new computer's hard drive, but gone! off the internet, in an effort to save space.

well my original email dialup account that I got with EOL was with 10 meg of space. So that should normally have been plenty, until I started uploading wallpapers from work, just to get them home. :D

I think my real problem however was the 7 meg of photos in my email that I am now downloading. :B

I have plenty of space at lorrainequirke.com but I don't want to use that unless absolutely necessary because there is no way to determine if the stuff was music related, or related to other stuff.

Other photos really belong on flickr now, so that's where I'm going to put them.

Hopefully deleting these emails will do the trick. I went from 7.3 meg to 670k. :D

Primus is fixing it.

I think it has to do with that I started at EOL with one particular package, and Primus bought them out, and there have been weird things happening ever since, as they shoehorn my webpage space & email account into what services they offer.

They gave me a new account, but old email address. I don't know why my old web page quota disappeared, perhaps even they don't know.
