Well Sunday is going way better than Friday did. yay!

I went to the inaugural Mississauga Drum Circle today and it was very fun, the people were cool, and the weather was nice. We're going again next Sunday, and I might buy a drum!

Our afternoon in Erindale Park reminded me of an SCA gathering: barbecue smells, tons of families, outdoorsy smells, and homemade music. :D

Now I am listening to my happy Quebec folky pop. I bougth Metric and like it, but it's more moody and I needed a BNL-style charge this afternoon.

Oh! I sent off my 20 CDs to various community radio stations, so if you're in eastern Canada or Quebec, listen for me! ha ha ha. Well we shall see what kind of website traffic I get, or emails. *fingers crossed*

haha thanks! I've sort of got nerve sending them out though because it's home-recorded... but I'm gonna see what kind of reaction I get from the campus/community radio folk. (:o)

you'd be surprised at the positive reaction to some people's home recorded demos. it's all a matter of whether you move someone to play your stuff.

I know campus/community radio folk well enough that they are hungry for new, indie, and Canadian stuff, so I'm optimistic enough. I put some thought into the words, so I'm sure it'll resonate with someone out there. The postage was quite a bit less than I had thought, so it's less of a risk than I had originally thought to send off a whole bunch.
