holiday weakened

How was your holiday weakened... I mean weekend?
I had a confusing blend of thanksgiving dinners to attend. Overall it was good but moving beyond dinner at Mom & Dad's is making life complex.

I cleaned my apartment so clean that I can't believe how clean it is now. I threw out some junk and put some other stuff in Ikea storage boxes, that's why.

People are apparently coming to clean the vents in the bathroom and kitchen in my apartment, poor kitty is closed up in my bedroom all day so that she doesn't run out the door if they come in and do work today. I hope she isn't too upset by it, I left the radio on for her & supplies etc. She didn't look upset when I left.

I sometimes leave the tv or streaming audio on for them, though I usually don't think to. Not sure if it comforts them or not, to be honest. I left them locked in my bedroom again today, because apparently the painters *will* be painting the doors today. We'll see...

Einstein has this magical ability to sense when I'm about to chase him down and put him somewhere (a room, the car, whatever). He had climbed atop the cupboard prior to my moving all the cat stuff into my room. Had to haul him off there, all tensed up and squirmy. He's such a nerd.

Yeah, played some fun games of Settlers of Catan with some friends in F'ton. One of my all time favorite games. Now I've brought it back to Halifax with me, and will hopefully find some people willing to give it a try...
