kamomilI think the Haas Gloria is going well.
Well, the congregation has started singing the refrain part, I can hear them below me. That's a good sign for sure.
The priest says it's too repetitive, (it is) and that because all the verses are different, (they are) the congregation won't be able to learn it. (they will in time; we sing it every week) I told him another church in Mississauga does it. If their congregation learned it, ours can learn it. People enjoy a fresh change of music to keep from getting all crusty.
Somehow even his negative feedback was kind of good to hear; someone is actually paying attention.
