kamomilwell today was yet another in a parade of mondays off, and saturdays on.
I got a lot of crap done today... well not that much, but:
-found out my dad's HP scanner likely has the bulb blown in it, and beacuse it's likely not under warranty, no one wants to touch it :( He only used it maybe a few times in the 3 years he's had it and now it's busted, after I borrowed it. I spent way too much time finding this out today, but at least I have some idea what to do next. One repair place gave me a tip on a little place that might still have parts for the scanner I have.
I re-activated a dormant bank account. That was fun because I didn't have the letter from the bank, nor the bank card itself. LOL. However I've done it, I just need to call the 1 800 number to change my address so that when I let it go dormant again, at least the letters come to the right address LOL no I'm gonig to use it for... I don't know, a backup bank account? They did service charges for my having a low balance, back when I was a student, so out of spite I stopped using the account. Etc. etc. etc.
I bought more stuff for my balcony garden. I am applying meticulous attention to it because I need to distract myself. It's amazing all the products you can get for a patio or garden or whatever etc. A good side effect of all this is that I have a pleasant balcony to spend time on. But the cat kind of protests, she starts scratching at the door. Too bad kitty, can't afford to have you fall off the railing.
