anyone do their taxes via telefile last year, and already get a tax package in the mail?

I'm wondering if mine is still to arrive in the mail, or whether I should go to the post office instead and get one. I have my T4 and my RRSP junk... I want to get this show on the road... before I forget.

This is my first year to do this...in the UK you don't have to do your own taxes like this...so don't ask me for help! LOL!

We haven't started yet...I'm hoping this year it'll be easy since we basically weren't even earning until I got my job in September...

You should get a T4 form in the mail, from your employer. On it, it shows amounts that you transfer to the tax form, they're numbered to match. I have no dependents or anything, so mine is simple, so dunno about yours. I read the guide from beginning to end in case there's something that applies to me (nothing usually). But the math usually melts my brain. My dad gets QuickTax, he loves it.

I have a T4, so that's all good...just need to find time to look at the forms...on weekday evenings - well if you read my blog you'll know the score there - and at weekends I prefer to keep free from such mind taxing activities...so, I'll probably end up doing it when I least want to.
