I got off at 3pm, which is normally the time I start at. So I felt antsy... normally when I get home, it's already dark. Also when i get home, I kind of wind down for the evening, and I hardly wanted to do that at 3:30-4:pm.
So I called my sister. My 2 sisters live together at the moment, in the married sister's house. The younger, unmarried one answered, we made quick plans to have coffee. (Oh, the joys of living in the same city) I went to their house, and we went to an espresso bar where I had green tea unlike any I'd had before. So we did, and I vented my relationship worries, etc., etc. We discussed seeing a movie, but that got derailed when we got on the phone with my brother... we all 3 firmed up our plans to see the St. Patrick's Day parade tomorrow, and then my sister spoke to my brother for awhile about how her job is going (seems they have hired her for something that she's actually not qualified for WTF?)
I left during this conversation... I was getting tired. Also, my sister gets aggravated with my ADD after awhile, eg. I jump ahead and back 2-3 topics during conversations, and she gets frustrated. But we had had a good chat, and I overheard her talking to my brother and I felt very together. My siblings are now my best friends too. :D
St. Patrick's Day in Canada is c-c-c-cold. Last year I made a green fleece toque for watching the parade... cheesy, I know, but practical. :D I originally wanted to make a fleece jester cap, but it might end up simply as tricolour scarves.
