You fit in with:
Spiritualism

Your ideals are mostly spiritual, but in an individualistic way. While spirituality is very important in your life, organized religion itself may not be for you. It is best for you to seek these things on your own terms.

Good thing it didn't rain today. Water still leaks into my car, despite my dad's efforts at sealing the suspected leaky areas. My car was smelly, and when I went to clean it, I found... a puddle of water. Now it smells like Mr. Clean and dampness combined. hmmm.

I am feeling a bit better today, I was inspired by a statement by Kimora Lee Simmons, of Baby Phat, her description of who she had in mind when designing her perfume scent. "We micromanage everything with class, grace and elegance." What a wonderful way to describe what women do, esp. women with children. So I am going to try to have more class, grace and elegance, especially when the goons at work discuss going to strip clubs. LOLOL

I went shopping before work today, I always feel more efficient when I do that. I bought some little clothing things, and a Barenaked Ladies DVD for $12 at Zellers! Who'd a thunk it. I <3 BNL. I didn't find everything... for my curtains I had to go to 3 different Zellers to find four panels the same colour. (:o) This time around, I have already gone to 2 Zellers, one more to go. haha

So I emailed them that I have no place to upload my files to, despite having access to the server. I can login, but I am denied permission to upload. I communicated that to them, and they want my login & password to test. Either I'll get somewhere or someone else has intercepted my emails and is going to login to my server and not be able to upload anything either. All I get is spam at that email address so I'm not too worried either way.

This whole internet trouble thing is reminding me of:

Flakes - Frank Zappa

Flakes! Flakes!
Flakes! Flakes!

They don't do no good
They never be workin'
When they oughta should
They waste your time
They're wastin' mine
California's got the most of them
Boy, they got a host of them
Swear t'God they got the most
At every business on the coast
Swear t'God they got the most
At every business on the coast
They got the Flakes

Flakes! Flakes!

They can't fix yer brakes
You ask 'em, "Where's my motor?"
"Well it was eaten by snakes . . ."
You can stab 'n' shoot 'n' spit
But they won't be fixin' it
They're lyin' an' lazy
They can be drivin' you crazy
Swear t'God they got the most
At every business on the coast
Swear t'God they got the most
At every business on the coastrest of the song )

Well I'm having a funner evening tonight.

I now have a referral for a specialist so my mind is eased - for now anyhow.

My cat was zooming around my apartment, playing solo hockey. :D

I bought some patch cables, and I randomly hooked up my shortwave radio to my stereo so I am listening to it in a more central location. I may do that with my scanner too. In a moment I will do what I originally meant to with one of these cables, solder it to the stupid FM transmitter that I used to use for my CD portable player, so I could hear it on my car's FM radio, that is until the wires started to loosen. I am going to mcgyver it a bit more so it is more stable and less prone to shorting out... we shall see. I would like to get a better car stereo but the car is very old and... ha ha, when we bought it, there was evidence of damage of the old owner trying to remove their car stereo. All they got off was the removable faceplate, so we were stuck with a car stereo with no control panel, until my dad put in a basic AM/FM unit. (:o)

Anyhow I am listening to Radio Netherlands news in English. I was confused at first because the newsreader had an obvious American accent... but sometimes ex-pats are the ones reading the news on stations like that. However when they interview locals, I totally know Dutch accents because where I grew up had lots of Dutch speaking people.
