Soooo....
I FINALLY cancelled my Echo Online / Wintel / Primus dialup & email account.
2 things:
The lady tried to suggest I talk to tech support.
Then she tried to upsell me the enhanced dialup or highspeed or whatever.
No freaking way. She didn't even begin to understand. I had already spoken to some people at tech support who had no idea, then later, when they did fix it, they had a lady call and tell me that they didn't know why they didn't fix it sooner and that they should have notified me that my webspace access would change after they reset my account... the resetting of the account was supposed to fix that I had lost access to the webspace in the first place... clueless! No one told me the pathname I had to follow to upload my HTML files in the FTP program. I did figure it out eventually, but I refuse to give my money to such a disorganized company.
I am glad it's done... I had been waiting to notify all my people of the address change and see whatever mailings would trickle in that I had to change etc.
