kamomilguess I will continue where I left off on LJ.
I have a week off, it is a staycation - I am hoping to get some painting and stuff done to the house.
Yesterday I mowed the lawn for the first time in ages. What there was to mow of it. Most of teh grass is brown, I figured it would go dormant, but the place where the gas people dug it up, the replacement sod is completely dead looking. I am going to water it today... :/
The veggies are growing like crazy!
I've had a feeling of really being on vacation this time... I've had feelings like I had when I was on vacation in Ireland, eg. not being connected at all to my everyday routine. Maybe having the dining room completely in disarray is helping?
I gotta say I really don't like the styles on this site... but I don't think I have enough motivation to figure out the system. I know CSS but idk. I would be happy enough with the default style that is used in the menus, but beggars can't be choosers.
