Well it was kind of a triumphant Friday.

I had a sprightly spring in my step walking towards Union Station tonight. Though our day was stressful it was filled with some good moments.

This morning I tried to sit next to the "Train 48" people on the GO train. heh heh. They are a bunch of commuters who are loud and "tee hee hee" the whole way to Union. There are about 10 of them. They noticed I "didn't run away;" I was giggling and half-listening to CBC on my radio. They commented and kind of invited me to join in. HOLLA! I welcome this sort of thing as I need to enlarge my network of friends, regardless, selfishly, I would like to meet a nice guy, and I'm thinking they must know one or two. Some of the dudes in their group are indeed hottt, but sound married. They all sound married. They are indeed funny. I don't take their train (they are on the exact same train each morning) all the time, only this oddball week whilst doing CFH 2.0 9-5 hours. However I am seriously considering taking the GO all the time, at least on my semi-early shift, to be on their train & make some new friends.

I noticed them last winter, and mentioned them to my uncle who took the GO for many years. He knew who they were. ha ha

Also to add to the fun there is a comedian train conductor.

I'm not sure I get it- are these the actors from the show? They ride the train in the mornings, as a group? Were they shooting an episode when you wandered in?

I still remember this conductor on the Go who used to announce our approach to Long Branch by saying "next stop... lllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggggggg branch". =)

nooo..... I'm just making fun.

These are ordinary commuters.

Though I'm sure the show was inspired by people like them.

the show was cancelled BTW.

Yep, that sounds like the same type of comedian conductor, not like the doorknob one we seemed to have today who doesn't quite stop at the right place and we all have to run to get on the train.

Ohhhhhhhhhh.... That makes sense now. Heh heh... I never got the point or appeal of that show. Seemed pretty boring. I'm sure a real life group of them would be more interesting to be around. Here's hoping you manage to penetrate their inner circle ;) From the sounds of it, they are pretty friendly.
