OH. MY. god. OKAY NOW THAT I HAVE CALMED DOWN A LITTLE BIT I DON"T THINK I WILL COMMIT BIRDICIDE JUST YET!!!! The pigeons are back. I tried to hurl an egg off the balcony (egg #3, by the way) and just smashed it on my balcony, by accident. I reinforced the reinforcements against their entry, and I think it is time to notify the super and have the professionals come in and remove their feathery selves.
I bought a bottle of Baco Noir, and of my Merlot that I liked, and.... I am trying SOOO hard to like the Baco Noir. it is Peller, from Niagara. Eep, it tastes like the Merlot when it had gone off. I am just about to google it to see if I am completely mental or if it really does taste like that. Hmph.
I booked my jazz festival.... eee, eee, eee, I am going to Montreal!!!!!! From Jul 2 to 9. Montreal is so fabulous. the Via train was booked up some of those days... therefore I will miss the beginning, but that means that... I will be able to attend the Canada Day ard chreag ealdormere camping event. Ha ha ha! I am about to officially have my cake and eat it too.
This week at work has been kind of confusing. My supervisor has constantly been popping in and out of my work area, giving me half-updates, and I have been doing work that normally belongs to other people, because they are not here. Every day it's a different flavour of confusion. My supervisor will even call me at home, ostensibly to alert me to an altered start time, and will sound confused, and call me back later with more solid-sounding info. ??? I don't really care, I think I enjoy the lack of predictability, so far I haven't been yelled at (by anyone important) so it's all good.
My buddy at work is going to check my French translation of my bio for my burgeoning rock star career. Then I am going to start firing off my "cd" (ie home burned) to people in community radio stations, first ontario, then quebec, hence the translation. Some places peopel are very bilingual, some places not. Hey, when you're not famous, you need everyone on your side you can get!!!
