Today was the Halloween dress up day at Early Years:

Many of the kids showed up dressed up, they were adorable! A ladybug, a lion, a bear and a couple of princesses.
They said they would have something to hand out to the kids. I was wondering, what kind of candy do they think they can eat??? It turned out to be a small stuffed animal and a little paperback book. I mean at that age it's just fun to dress up but I guess the adults feel there's something missing, to have Halloween without giving kids something to take home.
(Early Years is a program, in which parents bring their kids to something that feels like a daycare, for the kids and parents to socialize. I think it's great because kids in a daycare will have a social advantage over kids who stay at home with Mom until kindergarten)
