Well I was! I would have been happy to sleep till 11, but I dragged my sleepy butt out of bed at 8:45 to make it to the vet appointment more or less at 9:15. Now that I'm thoroughly awake, fed, and active, I feel better, it feels good to see the sunlight in the morning. My car is now clean and that is awesome. A low point of my morning earlier was to be blinded by the sun glaring through my filthy car windshield.
I'm a morning person, but because my work schedule is mostly evenings, my circadian rhythms have been yanked ahead several hours. I still wake at 6am, but I go back to sleep at 7 for a few hours before I get up and go to work. So I'm not really a morning person anymore, not really.
So 9am was just a little too early for me, and I was surprised at how pissed off I was. It involved me getting honked at by one driver, and me giving the finger to that one and another.
I feel better now, but I'm still going back to bed.
