Firefox sucks. I cannot access the second half of the user menu, ie I am typing "update.bml" in order to update.

I'm sure their IT people know and ahve had 93842387498 people already notify them, and I'm sure there's a journal entry about it with 29347928374 unrelated comments. So I'm sure the LJ people don't need me to tell them, and I can't waste time reading all the comments about it, funny and down-to-earth of an experience as that may be. And if it IS firefox, or the fact taht I have shut off Java and Javascript because Yahoo Mail was taking forever for its damn ads to load up while I was downloading files off my mail, well I won't know for the time being.

oh and now that I think about it I forget where I turned off Java and Javascript.

Haha! I figured it out. I shut off the Firefox Javascript. When I turned it back on in Firefox, my menu reappeared. So I'm sure there aren't 827364827 help comments about it. :P

Whoops! misread my work schedule and went in on my day off - today. Tried not to waste the day by going shopping in lovely downtown Toronto, which I seldom venture into becuase of the hassle of finding somewhere to park. Today I took the train, because it was supposed to rain today, and my car somehow fills with water during rainy drives. Not surprised that I misread my sched because since the one fellow left, we have been chopping and changing the sched to cover until someone else is hired. I bought a biking jacket. The proper rainproof ones were $200, not sure if I would get the full use out of something like that, so I bought a $70 one. I need a balaclava or thin knitted cap or something to go under my helmet (I'm going to try to ride my bike for fun till there is snow) so since I have fabric at home, I got ideas from the store. It was MEC, which also has a ridiculous variety of camping and sports clothing that i will never have any use for. For all that, I bought a men's jacket because I didn't like the colours that the women's were in. There was more cycling gear there in space age fabrics, but I once bought a pair of long underwear in a space age fabric and... it was itchy, so I made some out of T-shirt fabric. :)

Then I walked up Spadina through Chinatown debating whether to go to Bloor for used CDs, but got on the train and went home because I felt I was wasting the day walking all around on my hastily planned outing.
