Jun. 18th, 2005 09:51 pmMmmm... hot hot chocolate chocolatey goodness mmmm...
I am procrastinating from doing sewing. It feels like I am procrastinating from doing an essay at university. ha ha. I am making:
-a knee-length wrap skirt
-a muted red stripey sleeveless blouse
-a multi-browns stripey sleeveless blouse
-a robins-egg blue with flowers sleeveless blouse
to get me through any more crap hot summer that we might have. I found out a coupla years ago that knit fabrics, ie T shirts, are useless in such heat, and so I have sleeveless woven blouses coolness.
But that's quite a chunk of work to have bitten off, innit? Also I biked 6 km today through possibly some of the best foresty trail goodness that mississauga has to offer, the Erindale park which winds a couple city blocks along the Credit River. Boy am I tired. It was wondrous. On the map it was all green, and in person, it was green too. And the part near the entrance was a festivity of picnic tables and those things you can barbecue on. But further into the foresty part, I saw umpteen chipmunks, 2 bunnies, and... 2 deer! holy crap. and one or two ninja squirrels.
So I am running out of steam already. whew. I was hoping the chocolate would give me energy but... dunno if it matters, it's almost bedtime anyhow.
