Dec. 27th, 2004 12:50 amI had a good Christmas... we had dinner at my sister's place, her husband cooked dinner, his folks were there.
Today, my parents were discussing a trip to some family friends, and I hadn't seen them in ages, some OTHER friends were visiting them too, so I popped in myself and had a nice evening of socializing. These folks have known me since I was small, so it was awesome to see them all again. What with school & work, and not living at home, I hadn't seen them in years. My dad's one friend is up-to-date on his gadgets and watches CFH, which I hadn't realized. LOL!
I have to tell this story. My parents were carpooling with my cousin & her daughter, driving over the Bloor viaduct, she's like "what's that for?" to the Luminous Veil barrier. My dad told her it was for catching birds. He didn't feel right telling her it was for catching people. :(
