Tomorrow I am getting a new cat. Shh! Don't tell the people I already turned down, over the years, when people have offered me a cat, but I said No.

This one is 14 years old, her owner went into a nursing home, and the house is being gutted and the contents disposed of. A fellow from my work is dropping the cat off tomorrow, it belonged to his father-in-law. I will have pictures... as soon as I get a USB compact flash card reader for my camera. :P It will be good for my kitty to have a buddy.

She is a domestic longhair white kitty, apparently in good health. She would have been put down already, except the people had second thoughts. O.o

It'll be interesting to see how Deena reacts to the new "intruder". I remember we got a second cat when I was like 10 and the older cat was very territorial at first.

When I got Deena, and brought her home, at the time, there was another kitty there, and the fur flew for about a week. Then I'd come home and they'd be cuddlign on the couch. LOL Last time she was being boarded at the vet's, she made friends with the cat in the cage next to her, so I'm sure she'll be sociable enough, however the new cat is apparently pretty shy so who knows what will happen.

The other kitty hasn't had a vet visit in several years, so I will not let them interact till she gets a vet visit this week.

Cat lady? ...... mmmmm I think you'd be more like cat women.

You know what I mean by cat lady, right? Some lady who has 30 cats and the house smells like cat pee. :D

yeah I know .................... I was just trying to make it sound better is all :D

haha... but my mom was not happy at first when I told her. :D
