I go to the specialist today!! I have no appt... I just show up between a certain time. I am confused: when I was a kid, we had a family doctor with appointments, now I cannot get appointments all the time, and so I am going to a walk-in clinic for everything, not just a sniffly nose. I go today to an on-call specialist... it used to be that you could wait months for a specialist appt. yet I am going 2 days after asking for one. So I don't know if it is because I am in a big city, or whether the medical system is improving or deteriorating.

I am referring to old school Dutch accents, no American or British influence! They have a particular way of rounding their vowels and saying "s". I cannot imitate it, I guess Dutch sounds are different than English. The Dutch people who were in my town came from Holland after World War II, so they were old-school. Very understandable, but very distinctive.
