It is charming for sure! There are older parts along Lakeshore, a bit east of that as well.

I had a boyfriend several years ago who lived there, so for more than a year, I spent a lot of time in that area. There were always cheesy businesses opening and closing again on that street, must have been something in the water. Even the Bank of Montreal there is now gone.

I had another friend who briefly lived in the building on the northeast corner of Kerr & Lakeshore, she lived in a sketchy apt. with many people, and once a visitor stole her cellphone from the bathroom. Now that's sketchy!
